Journal Entry #2 - Sedona Birthday
Upon arriving my fist thought was to go to the Buddhist Stupa. Throughout the Sedona region, there exist High Frequency Energy Vortex's the subtle energy that emanates from these vortex's resonates with and strengthens the inner being of each person that it come in contact with. This happens because the vortex energy is similar to the subtle energy operating in the electrical pathways within in each of us. If you are a sensitive person it is quite easy to feel this change accuring, as it can in fact not only accure in a spiritual sense, but that these higher frequency energy center can also speed up the evolutionary process, even affecting your very DNA.
Though the Stupa doesn't exactly rest on-top of on any said Vortex, throughout the Sedona valley. It does however focus the energy in the valley, to a single point. A local Buddhist nun Hanika understands this very fact, as she was telling me a bit about this particular focus point. As we spoke the veil between the physical and the etheric shifted slightly revealing this truth before my eyeas, as large diamonds filled the air all around us, they glistened in the air, they were hanging as if Christmas ornaments, I thought to my self. Hanika also witnessed this, as we both paused in our conversation, as she said how beautiful it all was.Hanika urged me to attend the local meditation group, to give prayer for peace.
A large golden statue of Buddha looked on as we began to walk around the stupa in a clockwise fashion, you always walk clockwise. As the Buddhist teachings point out, every element of a Buddhas's physical body is pervaded with enlightenment. Thus, even after cremation, the teacher's remains are considered sacred, because they are the distilled essence of his or her physical form and are therefore themselves the embodiment of enlightenment. Because it enshrines these relics, the stupa is powerful.
It is said that in venerating the stupa, one can "meet" the teacher. The visual impact of the stupa on the observer brings a direct experience of inherent wakefulness and dignity. Stupas continue to be built because of their ability to liberate from confusion simply upon seeing their structure.
The shape of the stupa represents the Buddha, crowned and sitting in meditation posture on a lion throne. His crown is the top of the spire; his head is the square at the spire's base; his body is the vase shape; his legs are the four steps of the lower terrace; and the base is his throne.
The stupa also symbolizes the five elements and their relationship to enlightened mind. These are the essential attributes of a fully realized human being: the base of the stupa signifies earth and equanimity; the dome, water and indestructibility; the spire, fire and compassion; above the spire, wind and all-accomplishing action; and at the very top, the jewel represents space and all-pervading awareness. The stupa is a mandala, or sacred arrangement, containing all of these enlightened qualities."
That first night, as dusk quickly approached, I entered a deep Kriya Meditation, finding a quite place in the shadow of the Stupa. With each interval of moving the breath up and down my spine, and through each chakra center, breathing the life force in and out. Waves of pranic energy is crashing against my very core, electrifying me from the inside out. Each time I drew my breath up to the all pervasive eye, I would then open my physical eyes, catching a glimpse of the swirl of prana moving about, also moving clockwise around the stupa. Almost like little gifts in the light, there to reassure me of my path, my path in the light. A small light lit the surrounding area, so I thought it be nice to snap me a picture to remember this night, here it is:
~
Live in Joy
Live in Joy, In love,
Even among those who hate.
Live in joy, In health,
Even among the afflicted.
Live in joy, In peace,
Even among the troubled.
Look within. Be still.
Free from fear and attachment,
Know the sweet joy of living in the way.
~
Along the path are peace flags waving in the wind, as markers along the path to show the way. All along the tip of the Stupa stands above the tree line. Before reaching the main Stupa, you will find one smaller, as with the top of the main Stupa rests a ornate statue of the Buddha. On the smaller one also similar in nature.

On life's journey
Faith is nourishment,
Virtuous deeds are a shelter,
Wisdom is the light by day and
Right mindfulness is the protection by night.
If a man lives a pure life nothing can destroy him;
If he has conquered greed nothing can limit his freedom.
~
~
Love yourself and be awake -
today, tomorrow, always.
First establish yourself in the way,
then teach others,
and so defeat sorrow.
To straighten the crooked
you must first do a harder thing -
straighten yourself.
You are the only master. Who else?
Subdue yourself,
and discover your master.
~
After a hour meditation, I followed it up by another hour of Mantras, and Affrimations. In reference for prayer for world peace as Hanika the nun asked me to pray for, I give the following very potent Mantra.
~
I AM the light of the Heart
Shinning in the darkness of being
And changing all into the golden treasury
of the Mind of Christ
I AM projecting my Love
Out into the World
To erase all errors
And to break down all barriers.
I AM the power of infinite Love,
Amplifying itself
Until it is Victorious,
World without end!

Next I was off for a morning hike. I was to hike Bell Rock, well hike part, Bike the rest. The one in the middle, ya that's Bell Rock, said to be the most power energy center in Sedona, and a famous landmark, due to it's unique formation. This picture is taken from were I began this days trek to Bell Rock.
Along the way there were many beautiful views, I just couldn't wait to climb to the top of Bell Rock so I could take in all view points. Though the path getting there was quite rugged, at some points I would have to scale large boulders, with my bike over on shoulder. Sometimes tossing the bike up first was the only way I could get there.
The Grand Scale of some of these cliffs, is very impressive.
I'm getting closer. As the trek progressed, I could feel my self becoming closer to the energy vortex center. There are subtle changes that accure, a increasingly more and more intense surge of pranic energy rushes up your spine, often you can feel your hair sticking right up, as this electrical field engulfs your body. In the air elementals begin to dance with delight, for with these higher frequency energy, the material universe around you begins to pulse at a slightly higher rate of being. With that, when you are sensitive to it, you will notice how the sky is of a deeper blue, almost a deep blue violet. Sometimes you will also notice something very different altogether, and catch glimpse of a elemental.
Elementals are "Nature's Angels" and they are referred to by various names including Fairies, Elves, Devas, Brownies, Leprechauns, Gnomes, Sprites, Pixies as well as many others. These nature spirits are governed by the Archangels. Like Angels, Elementals do not have a definite form or appearance. What your most often going to see, is the light the elemental gives off, it's vital essence. It is very difficult to see it's true form while still in our dense reality. It's easy to determine if a picture is that of an Angel or a winged elemental. The winged elementals have butterfly looking wings and Angels will appear in a more full body cloak of light.
If they choose to show themselves to you, they may choose a form that you will recognize and be comfortable with or will associate with the element they represent. The sylphs are the air spirits. Their element has the highest vibratory rate. They are said to live on the tops of mountains. The leader of the sylphs is a being called Paralda who is said to dwell on the highest mountain of Earth. They are usually seen with wings, because of their connection to air, which is associated with the mental aspect, one of their functions is to help humans receive inspiration. The sylphs are drawn to those who use their minds, particularly those on creative arts. Sylphs are usually sympathetic of human endeavors and for the most part their actions towards them are kindly and thoughtful. The Sylphs can have a profound and powerful influence on the human mental body and thought, and, they are responsible for being the primary impetus behind both inspirational art and inventions.
Getting Closer
Still Closer
A rest was what was needed. Being this close, I could now feel more than ever feel the pranic energy flowing through my very core. Getting closer a magnificent display danced in the sky overhead. Light radiated in waves pushing upward all around the center of Bell Rock.
These waves of light would rise and fall, in one motion, as though the very rock was breathing in and out. Though it is the earth itself, just as you have the life currents of life force running through your own network of electrical pathways. So does the Earth, some will refer these as Ley lines. Ley lines are planet earth's energy system. These "ley lines" have been in existence since the formulation of Earth, though they have altered and changed throughout the millennium. The meaning of "ley" is light source or illumination of light. Lea, lea, lee are variations of the " landscape" or giving way to the roadway or ley of the land. The effects of the earth energy grids marks and establishes definite meridians or apogee that radiate and fluctuate with varying levels of energy. Interestingly, enough, most ancient civilizations made their actual roadways almost in direct alignment with the earth's natural pathways.
